**Why stop at Jispa?
Jispa sits at 3,200 m, making it an ideal first-night halt before the higher-altitude ride to Leh. Spending the night here helps your body adjust before tackling passes above 4,800–5,300 m on the next day's route, reducing the risk of altitude sickness compared with riding directly from Manali to Sarchu.
Tip: Start early to avoid traffic.

Unlike Pangong or Nubra's dunes, Turtuk offers a glimpse into Balti culture and village life. It remained under Pakistani administration until the 1971 war, making it one of India's northernmost inhabited villages accessible to visitors.

Day 6– Nubra → Pangong Lake
