Overview

Visit Leh Ladakh  to experience Culture, Ancients Monasteries, Traditions, Highest Motorable Road, wildlife at this time and high above the tiny mountain villages. This package includes- Shanti stupa, Sangam – confluence of Indus and Zanskar river – where one can experience river rafting and bungee jumping,  magnetic hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Crossing Khardung La pass, and reach the beautiful Nubra valley – Deskit monastery and statue of Maitreya Buddha, white rolling sand dunes at Hundar, double humped bactrian camel and also journey along the Shyok river  towards the famous Pangong Tso- meaning “high grassland lake”. While on your way back this  tour includes crossing Changla, visit the Thiksey monastery – also known as ‘little potala palace’ due to its resemblance and the famous Rancho’s school.

The cherry on top is you will be experiencing the ride with the friendly and locally based company in Leh.  The guides and road captain being the native will have experience and can converse in both English and hindi, for your comfortable and enjoyable journey.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh Airport

  • Arrival, check-in and acclimatization.

  •  Later in the evening you can visit the Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa, take a stroll around the local market.

  • Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing towards Sangam Point

  • Post breakfast we head towards Sangam Point.  

  • On our way back to Leh we will stop at Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame.

  •  Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh City.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass

  •  Head towards Nubra Valley.

  • En route we pass through the epic Khardung La Mountain Pass, the second highest motorable road in the world.

  • Reach Hunder village, famous for its sand dunes and double humped Bactrian camels.

  • Overnight at hotel/camp.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

  • Post breakfast, we will drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Road. 

  • Wildlife sightings are common here.

  • Reach Pangong by afternoon.

  • A stargazing night awaits you at your camp.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh Via Changla Pass

  •  Head back to Leh early. On our way back we cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m.

  • We stop at Thiksey Monastery - also known as the mini Potala, an architectural masterpiece dating back to 1430 AD.

  • Reach Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6: Departure to Home

  • Drop off at the airport.
