  • Shyok river meets the Siachen river to form a valley that seperates the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges.
  • Turtuk a small hamlet that sits at the far end of the Nubra valley. It was part of Pakistan until 1971 and now lays along the LAC. It's inhabitants are mainly Baltis~ an ethnic group of Tibetan descent who mostly live in Pakistan's Skardu village. Experience their unique and rich culture and don't forget to visit their famous apricot orchards.

Itinerary
Day 1

ARRIVAL

Leh

  • Check-in and acclimatization.
  • Evening visit at the Leh palace and explore the local market. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 2

LEH TO SHAM VALLEY

Sham Valley

  • Explore  sham valley, known for its rich apricot and apple orchards.
  • Visit the Zanskar-Indus confluence at Nimmu, a river rafting point for adventure enthusiasts.
  • Take an ATV bike ride at the magnetic hill .
  • Visit Pathhar saheb gurudwara and INDO-PAK war memorial museum on the way.
  • Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 3

LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY via KHARDUNGLA PASS (18000ft)

Nubra Valley

  • After breakfast we commence our journey to Nubra valley ~ a mersmerising valley located in the northeast side of ladakh.
  • Khardung la has become one of the most sought after tourist spots , as it is the highest motorable road in the world.
  • A camel ride at the majestic sand dunes of Hunder is a tale come alive from the Arabian nights. These Bactrian camels were used for transporting goods on the historic Silk route.
  • We conclude the day at our camps
Day 4

NUBRA VALLEY TO TURTUK VILLAGE ~ The last village of India.

  • Explore Turtuk ~ a small hamlet that sits at the far end of the Nubra valley, it was once a part of Pakistan until 1971 and now lays along the LAC. 
  • Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 5

NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE

  •  Visit Pangong lake and overnight at camp.

 

Day 6

PANGONG LAKE TO LEH

Leh
+
  • Head back towards Leh via Chang la pass at an altitude of 17590ft.
  • On our way we'll stop at the famous RANCHO SCHOOL,the Druk Padma Karpo school.
  • Visit Thiksay monastery.
  • Overnight at hotel.

DEPARTURE

  • Drop off at the airport.
